Professor Of Physics Dong-Hyun Cho is an experimental atomic physicists studying trapped neutral atoms. He received his B.S. degree (1983) from Seoul National University, and Ph.D. (1990) from Yale University. Before coming to Korea University he was a postdoctoral researcher at Yale and the University of Colorado at Boulder. Research Interests Cooling and trapping of neutral atoms: spectroscopy and quantum manipulation of optically trapped atoms with special interest in trapping atoms without trap-induced perturbations. Long-term interest is quantum information processing using atoms in an optical lattice.
