Eunmi Chae is an experimentalist in atomic, molecular, and optical physics. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Tokyo. She earned Ph. D. degree at Harvard University with the research of laser cooling of diatomic molecules. After graduation, she conducted her post-doctoral research at Kyoto University on quantum gas microscope of ultracold atoms. Before joining KU, she worked at the University of Tokyo as an assistant professor, developing ultrastable optical frequency combs. With her expertise on molecules and lasers, her research aims for manipulation of ultracold molecules for quantum technology.
